Students at the Boston University School of Public Health link sex with good nutrition in a 30-second public-service spot that will begin airing on local television next month.

The commercial, “Eating Sexy,” features flirtatious coeds on the beach, feeding each other. There’s no dialogue or overt message, though the spot closes by directing viewers to the group’s Web address, eatsexy.org, for more information on maintaining a healthy diet. (The site attempts to maintain the mildly racy theme with images of lacquered lips devouring ripe fruit and a naked woman holding an apple.)

For the new spot, Ed Carfano served as creative director and producer, teaming with copywriter and director Noore Sabri.
