The MIT Technology Review has launched a monthly digital news letter, MIT Technology Insider.

Technology Insider will accept annual under writing from one sponsor at a cost of $100,000. Boston law firm Hale & Dorr, which has a concentration of science and technology clients, is backing the launch. No ads appear, but the news letter, which appears as a PDF document, features the firm’s logo and a link to its Web site.

“MIT is at the forefront of technology—a natural fit for us,” said Silvia Coulter, director of marketing and business development at Hale & Dorr.

Like the magazine, the spinoff targets professionals who apply technologies developed at MIT to commercial purposes. It will be sent via e-mail the first Tuesday of every month. The Cambridge, Mass.-based publication is compiled by Technology Review’s staff and overseen by R. Bruce Journey, publisher of Technology Review.
