Moroch/Leo Burnett USA has acquired Coffee/Black Ad vertising to form an agency operation with total billings of $135 million.

The new Dallas entity, which also includes Coffee/Black’s Wide Eye Interactive Group, begins operating under the Moroch name this week. Financial details were not disclosed.

Coffee/Black principals Jim Sykora and Troy Scillian, along with eight staffers, are moving into Moroch’s facility. Sykora and Scillian will join Moroch’s board of directors and will serve as ecds.

The union gives the conservative Moroch, which specializes in retail advertising for McDonald’s, Disney and multiple Procter & Gamble brands, a needed creative charge, sources said.
