Altamira Debuts in Connecticut

Richard Rapp has left Genova & Partners to open his own marketing shop, Altamira Inte grated Communications, in Westport, Conn.

At Altamira, Rapp is joined by creative partner Joseph Alesi. The two worked together in the mid-1990s for client Seagram—Rapp at Sterling Group, a New York advertising and design shop, and Alesi at the New York office of Upshot Marketing, a Chicago-based promotions agency.

The startup aims to provide advertising, public relations, interactive and other services for clients via its two principals and a network of outside marketing agencies.
