Former Long Haymes Carr chief creative officer Mylene Pollock has joined Euro RSCG McConnaughy Tatham as one of six group creative directors under Jim Schmidt. She is working on Red Lobster at the Chicago agency.

“We were looking for somebody to shape a major piece of business,” Schmidt said. He cited Pollock’s work at Ogilvy & Mather in New York for clients like IBM and Cotton Inc. as examples of adver tising that is “well grounded strategically but doesn’t give up ground creatively.”

Pollock spent less than two years at LHC.
