SAN FRANCISCO–Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of Internet trust services, VeriSign, has awarded its estimated $80 million account to Young & Rubicam, San Francisco.
Y&R will provide strategic direction, creative and media planning services for both print and television campaigns for the client. The work is expected to roll-out in North America, Europe and Asia in the coming year.
“This is VeriSign’s first commitment to corporate branding,” said Y&R president and CEO Austin McGhie. VeriSign began working with the strategic brand consulting group at Y&R about eight weeks ago and the full account win developed from that relationship, McGhie said.
