Boeing to Visit 6 Shops

CHICAGO—Boeing executives will visit six semifinalists vying for its $72 million account this week. Remaining in the review are the Chicago office of incumbent Foote, Cone & Belding, whose Seattle office previously handled the account, BBDO, Leo Burnett, DDB, Ogilvy & Mather and J. Walter Thompson, all Chicago, the company said. Cut were Publicis in Mid America, Campbell Mithun and Young & Rubicam. A decision expected is Oct. 9. The review follows the client’s decision relocate its headquarters from Seattle to Chicago.

GM’s Tallerico Moves to Buick

DETROIT—General Motors named Randall Tallerico, director of advertising and sales promotion at its Oldsmobile division, to the same position with the Buick division.
