The Martin Agency has promoted media veteran Karen Ellis to director of brand outreach, a new position.
“For years, I’ve wanted someone to work in the creative department focusing us to think beyond traditional media units,” said Mike Hughes, president and creative director at the Richmond, Va., shop. “As an advocate and facilitator, Karen will bring creative people from design, sales promotion, in-store, direct, public relations, interactive and general advertising to consider the entire brand presence in the marketplace.”
Most recently senior vice president of contact planning, Ellis will work with all of the agency’s departments in her new position.
