NEW YORK–Jaguar Cars Ltd., a part of Ford Motor’s Premier Automotive Group, has tapped WPP Group’s Young and Rubicam Advertising to be its global creative AOR. With the $125 million account in hand, Y&R takes the reins from Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, who handled the Jaguar account for North America, and J. Walter Thompson, Jaguar’s AOR for Europe. Both are also units of WPP Group, London, and for their 8-year tenure with Jaguar, were part of the automaker’s Global Communications Group.
