Three months after opening a New York outpost, interactive media agency Mediasmith’s office there has won the $15-20 million Space.com media planning and buying business. The win follows a national review involving several other undisclosed agencies.

The account includes online and traditional media, and comes amid an ambitious push for the New York space multimedia company that includes the launch of a national multimedia sales force. Incumbent Wolf Group in New York continues to handle creative.
