MangoSoft Corp. has retained consulting firm Pile and Co. to help it find an agency for its $20-25 million advertising account.
The company in Westborough, Mass., is looking for a shop to craft a mix of product and image ads, according to vice president of marketing Bob Primmer.
MangoSoft in the late-1990s worked with Garden City, N.Y., agency Welch Nehlen & Groome on national print campaigns that ran mainly in the business press.
The shop no longer works with MangoSoft and does not expect to be invited to the current review, said agency official Michael Welch.
MangoSoft is seeking to promote its software that allows companies to quickly connect to the Internet without paying for expensive T1 connections or other forms of high-speed access.
