Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, an upscale hotel chain including ITT Sheraton and Westin Hotels & Resorts, has consolidated an estimated $80 million in global media buying duties at Ogilvy & Mather, sources said.
Ogilvy was awarded the assignment over fellow roster shop DDB Needham after a round of strategic presentations, sources said. Ogilvy in Atlanta is the lead agency for Sheraton, while DDB in Chicago handles Westin.
Both the client and Ogilvy did not return calls at press time.
