The Meka Group in Miami promoted Ileana Aleman Rickenbach to vice president and executive creative director. GEORGIA Julie Davis Associates in Atlanta hired Elizabeth Boineau Lapham as senior vice president. Most recently, Lapham was managing director in the corporate services group of Hill & Knowlton in Los Angeles. Sandra Oak was designated vice president of public relations at Pollak Levitt Chaiet in Atlanta. MS&L Global Health, Atlanta, added Kelly Dolan as senior account supervisor and Anne Tarbutton Mori as assistant account executive. Star Kotowski advanced to business manager and Carla James became marketing coordinator at Paul Nurnberg Photography in Savannah. The Identity Group, Atlanta, enlisted Michelle Kegley as account executive and Julie Levin as assistant account executive. Carol Anne Schumacher joined Edelman Public Relations Worldwide's Atlanta office as executive vice president and general manager. Atlanta-based Ames Scullin O'Haire welcomed Melissa Whitaker as associate media director, Elaine Brown as office manager and Christina Doelling as senior art director. Bhavna Kumar became assistant art director at Hood & Associates, Atlanta. T.G. Madison, Atlanta, staffed up with account executives Dan Moore and Layla Gilbert, art director Tami Brooks, senior copywriter Clint Carruth, production manager Ellen Strauss, proofreader and traffic coordinator Sara Riney and financial analyst Christine McCamey. Freebairn & Co., Atlanta, awarded senior vice presidencies to senior managers Toni Cooper, Tod Berger, Sandy Chapman and Mike Paffenback. The agency also elevated Jean Cobb and Frank Gilleland to vice presidencies. MISSISSIPPI Lee Gipson returned to Maris, West & Baker in Jackson as vice president of strategy development. Gipson formerly served as media consultant to numerous political candidates. NORTH CAROLINA Howard, Merrell & Partners in Raleigh selected Connie Wells as director of financial services. Wells came to the agency from GE Capital Mortgage Corp., also in Raleigh. David Blair joined The Burris Agency in High Point as director of business development. TENNESSEE The Tombras Group in Knoxville promoted Phyllis Samples to vice president and creative director. Becky Bryant Lannom was chosen advertising coordinator at Stumpf Bartels Advertising in Nashville. VIRGINIA In Richmond, Siddall, Matus & Coughter hired four employees: account executives Monica Taylor and William Boger, benefits manager Bettina Roda and account coordinator Virginia Maloney. WASHINGTON, D.C. New York-based West Glen Communications appointed Keith Adams regional vice president of the company's office in Washington, D.C. Emily Anne Hollingsworth was added to the staff of AbramsonEhrlichManes as an account executive. Eisner Petrou & Associates promoted Colleen DeCoster to the post of senior account executive.
