Tosco Marketing Awards Its 76, BP Accounts To Dailey

Tosco Marketing in Phoenix has awarded its estimated $5-8 million 76 and BP consumer accounts to Dailey & Associates here, after a review of undisclosed shops.
Earlier this month, Tosco split with TBWA Chiat/Day, Venice, Calif., which had handled the 76 work [Adweek, Oct. 27]. Elgin/DDB in Seattle previously handled BP assignment.
“Tosco . . . has decided to take a new direction, with one agency handling both the BP and 76 brands,” explained Bill Shrader, Tosco’s vice president of marketing.
