At least one of five initial contenders is out of the running for the $12-15 million account of Dallas-based Greyhound Lines.
Sources said LMS/Marc of Dallas has been cut from contention, leaving four shops: incumbent The Richards Group of Dallas; Fogarty Klein & Partners in Houston; Temerlin McClain in Irving, Texas; and PGC Advertising of Dallas.
Executives at those agencies either could not be reached or declined to comment.
Greyhound Lines public relations manager Katherine Williams said agency meetings have been scheduled, but she would not confirm the contenders in the review.
The Richards Group has handled media buying for the client since 1996 and added creative duties last year.
