Robley Marketing in Portland, Ore., has created a billboard for client 1190 KEX radio that honors two fallen police officers.
Traveling eastward across the Hawthorne Bridge, Portland motorists can see the ad (shown here) along the side of the McDowell Bag Co. building. The headline wraps around the corner of the building: “Officer. Cop. Hero. Thank you to our Portland Blue.”
The billboard shows support and appreciation for Portland’s police force, which recently lost two officers in the line of duty, according to agency president Dale Robley.
“The response of the public has been extremely positive, including extensive feedback from other officers,” Robley said. “We’ve really seen that Portland’s 1190 KEX is in touch with the pulse of the city.” –Sarah Andreotti
