PARK RIDGE, ILL. – The American Egg Board selected contenders for its $3 million advertising account including incumbent CME-KHBB/Chicago; Ayer and Cramer-Krasselt, also Chicago; Grey Advertising and Jordan, McGrath, Case & Taylor, both N.Y.; and Davis, Ball and Colombatto/L.A. Presentations are scheduled for mid-May and a decision is expected by July. CME-KHBB has survived two previous reviews in its 16-year relationship with the trade association. Sources say the association is looking more for pr help rather than a big, splashy, broadcast campaign.
