Archos Arnova 10 Android Tablet Now Available in the US
With little fanfare, Archos’ latest Android tablet has shown up on Mertado.com with a retail of $199.
This 10″ (1024×600) tablet is the latest budget model from Archos. It’s running Android 2.1 on a low power Rockchip CPU and it has a resistive touchscreen, WiFi, an accelerometer, VGA camera, SD card slot, built in microphone and speaker.
Underneath the Archos label lies a tablet designed by Rockchip, the Chinese CPU maker. The price might make you think this is a cheap junky tablet, but Rockchip designs are usually quite capable.
