SEATTLE – EvansGroup here is jumping into the evolving world of new media, with plans to establish an agency division devoted to interactive communications technology before year’s end.
The as-yet unnamed division, to be housed within the media department, will launch with a soon-to-be hired executive devoted half-time to the effort and plans to go full-time as opportunities develop.
The division will explore interactive media scenarios with an eye toward turning them into ad opportunities for EvansGroup clients.
‘The key idea is that when the industry is ready (to move into the interactive medium) we will be completely up to speed and ready to handle it, whatever ‘it’ may be,’ said EvansGroup/Seattle president Dennis Miller.
