The creative staff at Fricks/Firestone in Atlanta has enlisted comedian Jerry Stiller as the lead voice in the inaugural radio advertising campaign for its Logan’s Roadhouse client.
Stiller, best known of late for his recurring role as George Costanza’s father on the dearly departed hit sitcom Seinfeld, lends his voice and brusque manner to the Logan’s marketing effort.
The radio commerials play up the company’s positioning as “The authentic roadhouse, where the food is everything.”
“His attitude and delivery speak volumes in terms of defining what we mean by the true and authentic roadhouse experience,” explained agency president John Fricks of the decision to hire Stiller.
Production credits for the campaign include agency creative director Elliot Firestone and copywriter Scott Ellmaker.
