Recruits Steve Bassett From The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va.
DALLAS – DDB Dallas has ended its nationwide search for a chief creative officer with the selection of Steve Bassett of The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va.
Bassett, 50, resigned last week from the agency where he has worked for 10 years. Most recently, he was senior vice president and associate creative director.
Bassett, who made his mark at The Martin Agency on accounts ranging from Wrangler to Kellogg’s to Mercedes-Benz, is perhaps best known for directing the development of the recent Yellow Pages television campaign featuring actor-comedian Jon Lovitz.
