Ex-viewers Want Better Mobile TV Quality, Reliability
A mobile TV usage survey commissioned by Tellabs and conducted by M:Metrics found that the market in the US and Europe has the potential to reach $270 million in 12 months. This will happen, the companies say, only if operators meet user demands for quality and reliability improvements – and manage to reverse an “alarming” trend.
According to the research, the number of “former” mobile TV users grew 68% in 2007, while the growth of the market as a whole increased only by 36%.
