Ciavarra Design in Boston has hired Diane Carvisiglia as a technical editor and copywriter. She is responsible for all collateral projects for client Digital Equipment Corp. She also writes and edits materials for Scudder and PictureTel. Carvisiglia had been editor of The Athenian, an English-language magazine in Athens, Greece.
