Scientific purists may dispute the actual date of the new millennium, but the occasion will be celebrated the world over at midnight, Jan. 1, 2000.

A lucky few will ring in the highly hyped New Year’s Eve party in four global cities aboard ‘The Millennium Flight.’

Miami-based NatCom Marketing, along with Air France and Concorde Spirit Tours, is sponsoring a quad-city adventure that begins aboard an Air France Concorde in Paris, with stops in Gander, Newfoundland, and Vancouver, B.C., Canada, and ends in Kona, Hawaii. In each city, the 100 passengers will join in televised celebrations.

All NatCom needs now is someone willing to shell out $10 million for a corporate sponsorship package. The deal includes associated licensing rights and seats aboard the plane–to be given away via a NatCom-created millennium marketing promotion.

NatCom’s Griff Siegel said the tour is an opportunity for the potential sponsor to be associated with a once-in-a-lifetime event.

‘Media impressions are going to be astronomical,’ Siegel said.
