CHICAGO–Ogilvy & Mather here has strengthened its creative department with the naming of Marlena Peleo-Lazar as deputy executive creative director Peleo-Lazar will take the creative reins on the office’s core Sears, Roebuck & Co. business after a 22-year career at Leo Burnett Co. She will join the agency next month, reporting to Tom Hall, chairman, chief executive officer and executive creative director for the Chicago office.





Peleo-Lazar said her decision to move to O&M was more about a chance to grow professionally than it was about leaving Burnett, which has undergone a recent management overhaul.
