GNC, less than a year after hiring Carmichael Lynch to handle its creative and media business, is reviewing its media account, according to sources.
The marketer of vitamins, minerals and diet supplements spends about $30 million in media annually, according to Nielsen.
Pittsburgh-based GNC is expected to meet with media agency candidates during the first two weeks of January. Based on those meetings, GNC executives will narrow the field to a handful of finalists, sources said.
It was not immediately clear if the marketer was also reviewing its creative account as well.
