Tim Spengler has been named to the new position of president of content marketing and revenue strategy at Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. The 49-year-old was most recently chief executive of Magna Global, the media investment and intelligence arm of IPG Mediabrands, and was a senior executive with that company’s parent, Interpublic, for nearly two decades.

In his new Clear Channel role, Spengler assumes responsibility for developing new media and advertising opportunities by using all of the company’s media and entertainment assets.
