Peter Drakoulias, global chief of staff at Draftfcb, has left the agency as it awaits the arrival of new chief executive Carter Murray in September. The global chief post was created for Drakoulias in November 2011; he reported directly to Laurence Boschetto, the shop's president, CEO who left that job in April and assumed a senior advisory role at the agency's parent Interpublic.

At Draftfcb Drakoulias’ focus was on merger & acquisitions and new business development, where last year he helped win SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, operator of SeaWorld and Busch Gardens.
