Meta introduced several new tools for creators at its Creator Week 2022 event this week.

Creators will soon be able to make their own digital collectibles—Meta’s term for nonfungible tokens—on Instagram and sell them to fans on and off the platform.

They will have access to an end-to-end toolkit that aids them through creation—starting on the Polygon blockchain—through showcasing and selling.

Meta said it is testing these updates with a small group of creators in the U.S. at first, with expansion to more countries on the docket.
