Pinterest Q3 Global Monthly Active Users Were Flat Year-Over-Year

Pinterest reported $685 million in revenue for the third quarter of 2022, up 8% from the year-earlier period. But its global monthly active users were flat year-over-year, at 445 million.

The company said in its earnings release that Canada, global ad U.S. MAUs grew sequentially, adding that Generation Z users grew by double-digits year-over-year.

That did not faze Forrester principal analyst Kelsey Chickering, who said in an email to Adweek, “Pinterest suffers from user growth stagnation, as seen in its flat global MAUs.
