Home Depot has several locations in Alaska, including a store in Fairbanks that is just 140 miles south of the Arctic Circle. The proximity to the North Pole provided the concept behind a holiday spot from BBDO which seeks to uncover if Santa is a customer.
“We’ve needed a little bit of joy and sunshine to elevate the holiday season,” Home Depot vp of brand marketing and creative Lisa Destefano told Adweek. “Much like we did last year, we wanted to pay tribute to our associates and all the work they’ve done for us and how they bring the holidays through supporting each other as well as our customers.
