Twitter API v2 Adds Endpoints to Support Twitter Spaces

Developers using Twitter API v2 (application-programming interface) will be able to look up live or scheduled Twitter Spaces social audio sessions.

The goal is to benefit developers by enabling them to build solutions and tools that help people on and off Twitter find interesting and relevant Spaces, while helping hosts by making their Spaces more discoverable and attracting more engaged listeners.

Twitter developer platform staff partner engineer Daniele Bernardi and staff product manager Adam Tornes wrote in a blog post Wednesday, “Over the past several months, we’ve been hosting regular conversations with folks from our developer community and people who use Spaces so that we can understand what API functionality we should build first.
