Facebook teamed up with The Asia Foundation on The Resiliency Initiative, a website containing resources to help people fight hate and intolerance online, promote tolerance, strengthen interfaith and interethnic understanding and counter violent extremism in the Asia-Pacific region.

The new website follows online workshops that were held with 60 organizations in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

The Resiliency Initiative includes guidance, resources and tools on combating misinformation, creating effective online content, getting started on social media, managing presence on social media and measuring impact, along with case studies with insights from communities around the region.

The site is currently available in English, and it will roll out in Bengali, Thai and Urdu in the coming weeks, with more languages to follow.
