For MTV Entertainment Group, looking at Black history isn’t just examining the past—it’s also looking to the future.

Today, the company unveiled “Unify the Dream,” a 30-second spot with narration encouraging people to “dream big” and “dream bold” in order to make Black history happen now. It features a mashup of video and images of prominent Black voices, ranging from activist and former House Rep. John Lewis to Vice President Kamala Harris.

The spot is part of “Making Black History Now,” the company’s largest marketing undertaking for Black History Month.
