Shaun Holliday is out as CEO of Havas’ MPG North America unit, the shop confirmed today.

He joined the agency in January 2009. Since then, the shop has suffered some setbacks, most notably losing the North American portion of the Reckitt Benckiser account ($500 million) to Zenith Optimedia last fall. Also lost late last year: Boehringer ($155 million) to Mindshare.

And last month it lost the CBS Films account ($100 million) to MediaVest.

The shop said that Maria Luisa Francoli, MPG’s global CEO based in New York, would assume Holliday’s North American responsibilities.
