Facebook, Google Slapped With Hefty Fines by French Privacy Watchdogs

Denying cookies should be as easy as accepting them

The French privacy watchdog Commission Nationale Informatique & Libertés (CNIL) says it will fine Google $170.4 million (150 million euros) and Facebook $68.2 million (60 million euros) for breaching EU privacy legislations.
