Time’s latest cover features an altered logo in a small, but meaningful tribute to victims of the Paris attacks. Inside the issue, the dilemma of ISIS is addressed.
“ISIS is a particularly difficult problem because it starts with this distressing fact: the forces closest to it aren’t sure they want to solve it,” wrote Time editor at large David Von Drehle. “The Islamic State is a fibroid of territory enmeshed in a cat’s cradle of ethnic, tribal, religious and geopolitical strands so densely tangled as to defy solution.”
The issue hits newsstands tomorrow.
