Reporter David Novarro Returning to WABC
Veteran reporter David Novarro is heading back home to WABC. The Chicago Tribune says Novarro is making a return engagement at Channel 7 where he spent 19 years.
In 2000, Novarro left New York for the Fox-owned Chicago station WFLD. Much of his time there was as morning co-anchor until being replaced this summer. (One of the new co-anchors is his former WABC colleague Corey McPherrin.)
Since leaving WFLD, Novarro was close to joining Fox 5/WNYW on their Good Day Wake Up newscast.
