Larry Flynt Offers Anthony Weiner a Job

And he's completely serious, too

Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt has decided to do something about the nation’s unemployment problem—well, sort of.

In a letter published in the Huffington Post, Flynt has offered disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner a new job at Flynt Management Group, a hotbed of porn and political activism. “As a congressman, you are known for your intensity and perseverance,” Flynt wrote to Weiner. “I believe that this attitude, combined with your service in the House of Representatives' Committee on Energy and Commerce, will make you a valuable asset to this corporation.”

Lest Weiner think the letter was written in jest, Flynt claims that the offer is completely sincere. “We are a serious corporation which, as you know, has been heavily involved in the political environment of this country for over 35 years…Just as we do not undertake insincere political crusades, we do not make insincere job offers,” he wrote. (And, as everyone knows, there's no better way to convey sincerity than publishing your letter in the Huffington Post.)

To sweeten the deal, Flynt has even offered Weiner a 20 percent increase over his congressman's salary, not to mention excellent health benefits and full relocation costs. And a little sympathy probably won’t hurt Flynt's appeal, either. “While this employment opportunity is being offered in large part due to your qualifications and clear passion for making a change,” Flynt wrote, “I feel that your unfortunate resignation is a prime example of unfounded political pressure and the hypocrisy that has invaded democracy in Washington D.C.”

Sounds like a pretty good deal to us. And what better place for a confessed sext addict to feel at home than in the porn industry?
