L.A. Publicist Uses 'Humperdinck' as a Verb
We’re always on the lookout for inventive press release headlines, and the following certainly qualifies:
“Engelbert Humperdincks His Way to APA”
The crafter of this hilarious headline is Elissa Buchter, the singer’s publicist. She tells FishbowlLA that it was vetted and approved by the singer’s son, Scott Dorsey, also Humperdinck’s personal manager. And why not? When you’ve got phonetic power like that, it should definitely be flaunted.
APA stands for the Agency for the Performing Arts. The British born singer is moving over there after being previously represented by William Morris.
