The Financial Times has named two editors. Details are below.
- Alec Russell has been named weekend editor. Russell most recently served as the FT’s news editor; a role he held since 2012. He joined the paper in 2006.
- Peter Spiegel will succeed Russell as news editor. He most recently served as Brussels bureau chief. Spiegel has been with the FT since 1999.
