Dr. Who Producer Suffers Through Early LA Christmas
Steven Moffat (pictured), the newest producer of long-running BBC-TV series Dr. Who, is coming in with a bang on Christmas Day. Although the program has done a Yuletide-themed episode on present day since 2005, Saturday is the first time such an installment will be same-day premiered on BBC America.
Moffat, via the New York Times “Arts Beat,” shares the very un-Christmas-like LA circumstances that led to the 2010 episode’s creation earlier this year, in April.
I’d flown to Los Angeles while we were going on interviews [for the United States season premiere of Doctor Who] and got stuck there by the volcano.
