Robert O'Leary Takes Over Digital First Media's New York Newspapers

Newspaper vet will oversee The Saratogian, The Record, The Daily Freeman and Oneida Dispatch.

Per a note today from soon-to-be-departed The Saratogian executive editor Barbara Lombardo, there is a new man at the helm of her paper and three other Digital First Media state newspapers. Taking over for area publisher Michael O’Sullivan is Robert O’Leary (pictured).

O’Leary, general manager of The Daily Freeman since February 2014, will oversee that paper, The Saratogian as well as The Record in Troy and the Oneida Dispatch. From Lombardo’s post:

His promotion was announced Tuesday afternoon by Guy Gilmore, executive vice president of Digital First Media’s eastern division.
