B2B Publisher Penton Emerges From Bankruptcy
After announcing last week that its restructuring plan had been approved by a New York bankruptcy court, trade-title publisher Penton Media today made good on its promise to emerge from bankruptcy. MinOnline reports:
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York confirmed the pre-packaged plan that eliminates $270 million in debt for the b2b publishers, and today they [sic] proceedings became effective.
Penton, which publishes 113 print titles on everything from aviation to baking, had announced its bankruptcy filing on Feb. 9.
