AOL To CTO: You've Been Axed
AOL’s chief technology officer is out. Did she resign, or was she fired? You decide.

NEW YORK (Reuters) — AOL’s chief technology officer Maureen Govern, who oversaw the division responsible for accidentally releasing search data for more than a half a millions users, has resigned from the company, according to an internal company memorandum.
Via the Wall Street Journal:
AOL, responding to a recent furor over its release of Web-search data from some of its members, fired its chief technology officer and two other employees responsible for the breach, according to people familiar with the matter.
