A.G. Sulzberger Takes Over The New York Times Opinion Section

Another step closer to publisher

A.G. Sulzberger, expected eventually to take over for his father Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr. as publisher of The New York Times, is closer to that future with an announcement from Arthur Ochs Sulzberger yesterday that places the editorial page of the Times under A.G. Sulzberger’s control, with editorial page editor James Bennet reporting to him. Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr. had previously been responsible for the section.
