Zachary Goldfarb has been named deputy business editor. He had previously been policy editor. “Zach has brought boundless energy and ideas to the Business desk since becoming its policy editor two years ago,” writes business editor David Cho in a note to staff. “Under his leadership, Wonkblog expanded significantly in audience and influence, and was a reference point for White House officials, lawmakers and TV personalities.”
