TechTarget Inc., a Needham, Mass.-based IT media company, announced its intention to make an initial public offering on Wednesday in a registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The shares are being offered by TechTarget and some of its stockholders.
The publisher operates a network of 35 Web sites focused on the IT sector, including storage, security and networking. The company also publishes CIO Decisions, Information Security and Storage, and operates several events.
