The printing industry’s organization, responsible for maintaining consistency and quality of printed publications, has named a new chairman of its board of directors.
The Specifications for Web Offset Publications (SWOP), Marblehead, Mass., elected Nubar Nakashian of Print International, New York, as its chairman. Nakashian replaces Joel Rubin, who held the chair position for the past nine years. Rubin will continue to serve the board as past chairman. Nakashian has led the development and adoption of accredited file formats and specifications for the publishing industry.
