Snapchat’s Timeline feature allows users to import multiple videos from their device’s camera roll to create a single Snap. The application will automatically connect these videos together to form the final video.
Our guide will show you how to use the Timeline feature in the Snapchat mobile app.
Note: These screenshots were captured in the Snapchat app on iOS.
Step 1: On Snapchat’s camera screen, tap the Timeline icon (the piece of film with a play button in the center) near the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap the Camera Roll icon to the left of the capture button near the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Tap the first video you want to import.
Step 4: Tap the checkmark icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen to add the video to your Snap. Note: You can use the controls at the bottom of the screen to trim the clip before adding it, if you’d like.
Step 5: Repeat Steps 2-4 to import multiple videos into your Snap. When you’re done importing videos, you can continue editing your post as you normally would. For instance, you can add a sound to your Snap. When you’re ready to move on, tap the checkmark icon near the bottom-right corner of the screen.
